Best place for kids and engineering enthusiastics, but unfortunately the museum only open occasionally. The exibition field is quite small, it just an operating locomotives warehouse. The plus point is locomotives cabins also open for people. It would be fun to play around :D

I recommend visiting this museum, but I would rate it 3-4 stars. It is dirty, poorly organized, a lot of building materials and tables all over the place, one cannot take a decent picture here. It is also quite difficult to get there, very poorly signalized. However, a must see. A few gems of the former DR: BR01, BR03, BR19 and others, a very impressive BIG scale modell locomotive. And one can climb into the cabin of most locomotive. The entrance ticket is similar to the old train tickets, a nice collectable.
