What a delight, this establishment has earned 5 stars, from the moment I arrived I felt pampered and my room was not only meticulously clean but also beautifully decorated.
The staff at Reception desk and restaurant and breakfast room went above and beyond to make it a special experience.
It is also located on a very quaint quiet street but also the Altstadt is within walking distance.
I also visited the Rakotzbrueke in Kromlau Gablenz which is also a must see for anyone travelling in this area.
I will definitely return to this Beautiful place and thank you to all the staff at Relais Chateaux Bulow Palais for making my stay so memorable.

Setting is nice, but lacking some elements. Food is great, with some exceptional dishes, however a * is questionable. Service is superb

Classic Michelin starred restaurant. Evening menu presented as two seven course menus which you were free to select from to reduce courses or swap around. Wine waiter advised us on a number of suitable wines which they both allowed tasting while offering by the glass which allowed us as a couple to have a variety of wines to suit the courses. Wine prices were reasonable too. Somehow the evening lasted from before 7:30 till after 11.

Very expensive evening but worth it.

We ate in the bistro on Sunday, as the main restaurant was full on saturday u0026 closed on Sunday and it was a wonderful experience. Such an interestingu0026tantalising menu, at remarkably good prices, considering the kitchens credentials. We appreciated the stylish interior and excellent service too.

An exquisite dinner at the 2nd Starred Restaurant in Dresden

After an awesome 7 Course Menu at the Bean u0026 Beluga we'd like to challenge ourselves for another refined temptation and nothing would ever top the Master Chef Stefan Hermann.

As you could guess and expect, the service was high-classly perfect at least if we compare to other up scale restaurants we've been to so far.

Eventhough I wasnt that hungry, I was persuaded generouly by my charming cavalier to take the Great Menu (9 Courses):

Marinated Foie Gras with wild boar, pumpkin and beetroots

Yellow fin tuna and seafood soy-beans

Ray in curry coconut and coconut seaweed

Pan-fried pike-perch with mace sauce, Sauerkraut and black pudding

Partridge with chicory, dates and juniper

Beef fillet under the merraw crust with Swiss churd and mushrooms

Vacherin Mont d'Orwith Mustard and baked potato

Chocolate cannelloni with coffee cream and milk

All kinds of quince

Fyi: if you ever think that you wont be 'full' dining at starred restaurant, you are totally wrong, at least it wouldnt be a doubt at this place as I was already happy after 6th course and gotta fight to finish the complete 9 Course Menu.

Food and service are ok but it is Michelin star rated restaurant. It is not living up to the standard and my expectation. Further improvement is required otherwise the star should be stripped.
