Small coffee place next to the museum quarter. It has a good selection of cakes, coffees, chocolates, cocktails and food. It is a bit pricy maybe due to its very touristic location.

Great place for a coffe and cake after a walk around the zwinger. It's right next to the picturesque altstadt and feels like a mini palaxe inside too. Really great cakes. Commendable service. A little bit expensive but understandable for the location and interiors. They do have nice outdoor sitting with view of the Zwinger.

After a long walk through the town of Dresden, I discovered Cafe Schinkelwache. It was perfectly located within a courtyard with picturesque views and provided a great latte with some fresh apple strudel. The staff were friendly and the prices was very reasonable.

We enjoyed lunch here. Service was good and food came out promptly even though it was busy. I enjoyed the Bailey's Iced Coffee and the Veal with Root Vegetables. My husband had the white hot chocolate (a bit sweet for him) and the chicken crepe which was really excellent. The building was tastefully decorated and the classical music made for a nice atmosphere.

One of the best coffees I have ever tasted. So good, we ordered another cup after the first one. The place is expensive but worth one visit. The staff could have been friendlier. The cake was okay.

When you visit Dresden you would be a fool not
to visit this wonderful cafe. Not only are you treated like an old guest. But I can guarantee
you will put on weight just looking at these
delicious cakes. They also have a menu to
suit everyone.

Lovely place to visit...
Food was delicious and yes...the place is so nice!!!!!!
You will not regret indeed :)

We had a bowl of soup, omelette (you can ask it) and a german pork dish!
Hope to visit very soon
