Am 31.03.2022 war ich mit mehreren Personen im Rahmen des Le Petit Chef Events zu Gast im Vivre und ich schlichtweg begeistert. Nicht nur die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist überaus ansprechend, auch der Empfang und das gesamte "Drumherum" sind einladend und gelungen. Man fühlt sich rundum wohl. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die beiden Kellner des Abends, besser gesagt die Kellnerin und der Kellner; beiden ist es durch ihre charmante, zuvorkommende und höfliche Art, gepaart mit einem Spritzer an Natürlichkeit, gelungen, das Event zu etwas noch viel besonderem zu machen, als es an sich schon ist. Der Service war erstklassig, die Weinempfehlung hervorragend und die Leistung der Küche verdient größten Respekt: Es war köstlich und absolut auf Sterneniveau. Ich habe selten so hervorragend gespeist und dazu den gesamten Abend genossen, wie bei dieser Gelegenheit. Ein großes Dankeschön an das gesamte Team! Weiter so!!!

Only the fact that a small portion of fries is €3.90 (!) and the pasta side dish of the pike-perch are not homemade are points of criticism in my opinion.
The desserts (Crème Brûlée u0026 strawberry cup for €6.90 each) were delicious, but the strawberry cup was just too big and powerful. I was confused why a normal cola is served in a Havana rum glass...
All in all a very round and nice evening in a convivial atmosphere on comfortable chairs.
The parking situation has light and shade. Light because there are enough parking spaces, shade because the parking lot is not 100% asphalted, which means that shoes and tires / rims get dirty.

Insgesamt ein runder Abend!
Schöne Location, in der es so laut war, dass das die Kommunikation mit dem super netten und kompetenten Servicepersonal sehr konfus war.
Besonders war, dass sich dir Servicemitarbeiter untereinander stets geholfen haben was zur Folge hatte dass der Ablauf schneller war aber es sofort zu Fehlern / Verzögerungen kam wenn die Kommunikation untereinander mal nicht stimmte.
Die Freundlichkeit u0026 Direktheit stachen aber stets ins Auge.
Das Steak-Tatar als Vorspeise (15,90€) war lecker, die Portion darf aber gerne ein bisschen Größer ausfallen.
Die Hauptgänge (l’Arrivée Rinderfiletteller mit 3 Filets a 100 Gramm + Beilagen sowie verschiedenen Saucen und einer Garnele für 33,90€ + gebratenes Filet vom Zander für 25,90€) kann ich uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Einzig die Tatsache dass eine kleine Portion Pommes bei 3,90€ (!) liegt und die Nudelbeilage des Zanders nicht selbstgemacht sind in meinen Augen Kritikpunkte.
Auch die Desserts (Crème Brûlée u0026 Erdbeerbecher für jeweils 6,90€) waren lecker, der Erdbeerbecher aber einfach viel zu groß und mächtig. Verwirrt hat mich warum eine normale Cola in einem Havanna Rum Glas ausgeschenkt wird…
Insgesamt ein sehr runder und schöner Abend in geselliger Atmosphäre auf bequemen Stühlen.
Die Parkplatzsituation weist Licht und Schatten auf. Licht weil genügend Parkplätze vorhanden sind, Schatten weil der Parkplatz nicht zu 100% asphaltiert ist was zur Folge hat, dass Schuhe und Reifen / Felgen dreckig werden.
Besonders hervorzuheben ist die tolle HomePage mit der die Reservierung ein Kinderspiel war.
Jedoch wäre es auch hier schön wenn die Speisekarten auf dem aktuellen Stand sind.
Bis auf die Parkplatzthematik können alle Kritikpunkte meiner Meinung nach mit einfachsten Mitteln geändert werden.

Menükarussell im Sommer 2021: Hervorragend angerichtet weisen die feinen Komponenten in vorbildlich unverkochter Textur und in ihrem komplex-stimmigen Wechselspiel zwischen Säure, Süße, Würze, Fleisch- (oder Fisch-) Geschmack dieses Restaurant als Ort einer klar gehobenen, ambitionierten und dabei gekonnten Küche aus. Waren heute zum Brunchen im Restaurant Vivre.
Zwei Sachen über die wir bei der Reservierung dankbar gewesen wären.
1. Das das Restaurant keine Gruppe von 16 Personen so platzieren kann das das nur ansatzweise zusammen sitzen kann.
2. Das das Bruch kein Brunch sondern ein reines Mittagsbuffet ist.

Klar hätten wir das vorher gewusst wären wir nicht hin gegangen, aber das hätte halt die Enttäuschung von heute erspart.

Vor Ort gab es leider auch nichts was eine bessere Bewertung rechtfertigen würde. Die Qualität der Speisen war bestenfalls so lala. Die Waffeln die als Nachtisch serviert wurden aber teilweise ungenießbar, weil verbrannt. Also stellenweise wirklich schwarz.

Der Service passte hier ganz gut ins Bild und war eher unterdurchschnittlich. Beim essen in Buffetform ist es nun mal notwendig das von den Tischen das Geschirr regelmäßig abgeräumt wird, nicht nur gelegentlich wenn es sich schon stapelt. Getränke zu bestellen war so leider nur ca. alle halbe Stunde mal möglich. Naja stimmt nicht ganz, der Gast kann ja durchaus auch zur Bar gehen und sich selber drum kümmern. Man muss sich ja nicht immer bedienen lassen...wobei, wenn man die Flasche Mineralwasser (0,75l) für 7,50 Euro verkauft, dann vertrete ich die Meinung das in dem Preis auch eine gewisse Serviceleistung enthalten sein sollte.

Fazit: Das l'Arrivée wird als eine der Top Adressen in Dortmund gefeiert, wo man hingehen sollte wenn man was auf sich hält oder mal was besonderes gönnen wird. Das kann ich persönlich nicht bestätigen, es gibt in Dortmund m.E. so viele bessere Restaurants und Bistros wo man eine bessere Zeit haben kann und mehr für sein Geld bekommt.

Natürlich sehe ich auch das ich jetzt einmal da war und nur eine schlechte Erfahrung gemacht habe. Aber bei den Preisen möchte ich mir lieber keine zweite Chance leisten.
