Very big station with connections to every where, North- South and East-West S-Bahn are on different levels underground. Multiple rails and trains ever 2 to 3 mins. Some shops near the gate as well as info center. The station is itself a small walk insides. Lifts for disabled for every platform. Everything is clean and in working order showing a perfect German engineering attitude. Excellent work.

Sometimes too crowded. There are many supermarkets and outlets both in the station and at walkable distances. WiFi sometimes not so reliable too.

How can you have a tracks that are not accessible from inside the station and without any signs to tell you where to go. Good luck catching your train and don't get robbed waiting for the next train.

Currently a big construction site. Pls check the plattform of your train prior arrival/departure. If you need a bathroom, make sure you have one EURO to pay for it. Very clean and you get a Cent Voucher to redeem if you buy anything from EURO 2.50 at some shops inside the station. At the north entrance/exit is a fast test centre for complimentary Corona tests.

Busiest Station among many other stations in NRW. Multiple trains and connections available from here and accompanied by a near by Bus station behind the station

Typical railway station with easy navigation. But it seemed to be a little bit more dirty in comparison with Bremen and Hannover stations.
Like in many German railway stations, inside there are many Ritter Sport ads.
Just near the entrance to the station, there is a stop of the AirportExpress bus.
