Really really wonderful, the food was amazing and the staff were so very friendly. They really made an effort with an English speaker who's pretty rubbish with German. The photo is of the prawn and calamare starter. It was gorgeous. Xx

The rooms are simple but with a home like feel, good matrasses which is often a problem for me with my back, the breakfast felt classic German, simple but good. The only down side for us is the fact we had a room close to the stairs and at the bottom of the stair is a door whit a spring which slams shut, some dampening on the door with for example some pads would make this problem a lot better.
Over all a nice hotel with friendly staff in a beautiful area, I would defentely recomend staying here.

Really good food and awesome service! My family comes here every Christmas. They even have craft beer which is rare in Germany. Try the pumpkin Gnocci!

Very good food and friendly waitresses. They have a lot of space available and a nice area to sit outside.

All correct. Great service, rooms, restaurant, forest setting. Even for a weekend trip or overnight business travel highly recommended!
