Das Waldlabor ist eine Anzuchtfläche für Bäume die unter anderem auch als Brennholz Verwendung finden. Dabei setzt man auf schnellwachsende Sorten die nach 5 Jahren abgeerntet werden um Brennstoff Pellets daraus zu machen.
Die Fläche ist von einigen geraden Wegen durchzogen und liegt leider recht nah an der Autobahn, was das ansonsten schöne Naturerlebnis etwas schmälert.
