Even if count the club as a trademark of the neighborhood, i gotta rate it downward cause as other users here i experienced it negatively in different aspects.
One of them is that the club is small and on crowdy nights you can barely move, can't really count on dancing comfortably.
The workers, especially the ones at the door are rude and unfriendly, wich doesn't relate neither with the vibe of the area (specially among locals) nor with the vibe of the owner who is a super cool dude, totally compromised with urban sounds and underground artists.
On a night of 25 degrees, the bouncer cut me out of the line, apparently cause i was wearing bermuda shorts, and had some colorfull clothes on, i was attending beatpackers, wich is a new school, and afro/trap beats party, i surely wouldn't show up there with mocasins and a smoking.
And that, on a night where there was nobody else in the line, so the club was definetely not packed (at the same hour you would wait an eternity to get in on a thursday when Radio Sabrosita is on).
The prices are standart, it lacks an alternative of some craft beer, and some expensive whisky or rum, the quality of the alcohol served is rather low.
At the U30 Old School Party that i attended a few weeks ago, the sound was terribly equilized, so that you couldn't tell what song was playing cause it sounded like mass of doe.
I might just stick to the hip hop concerts during week days, but in general i'm disappointed.
I don't like to go to places where i don't feel welcome.
