Great food. Absolutely worth it. The waitress was polite and friendly. Ordered udon with duck and grilled octopus. Duck was soft and flavorful. Octopus had great texture, not too chewy but also not too soft. And mashed potatoes it came with was absolutely delicious. The dessert was definitely a highlight of the dinner. All in all, this place is an experience and I would recommend it.

We had the 3-course set menu and a couple of cocktails and everything was delicious! The octopus and king oyster mushrooms were perfectly cooked. The wasabi mashed potatoes were unlike anything I’ve had before! So so delicious! The wait staff were all really friendly and attentive even though the place was very busy.

Nice location and ambience. There are some seats in the back of the restaurant where you can sit low like in Japan. For those tables you need to book a table in advance and tell them that you want those seats. Drinks were good. Sushi was okay. I would not recommend the Sushi menu. It’s okay if you like fried sushi. If I knew there is a whole roll of fried sushi in this menu, I would just order 2 special rolls with nigiris instead. Service is okay.

The restaurant ist nicely decorated with beautiful touches of Japanese culture, nice paintings and the tables are made in a nice a bit traditional way.. The Service Team is friendly and professional.. I loved the Miso Soup, it was well done and tasty. I liked the taste of crispy Tofu in the soup, one of kind.. the sushi was greaaaat, did not eat such a good Sushi since a while.. It’s worth five stars and a visit with friends.. I love it :))

FOOD u0026 DRINKS
They are heavily focused on Sushi but also have some other options including some warm dishes. I tried an octopus salad that you can’t find on their online menu. Everything on the salad was chilled. I would have preferred my octopus grilled and served slightly warm with the salad. The octopus was soft and not chewy at all. My main issue was the avocado. I like avocado but here it was disconnected from the rest of the salad because the pieces were too big and were not able to absorb the dressing. Maybe cutting the avocado in smaller cubes would have helped. Overall I think the dish was decent but I wouldn’t order it again.

SERVICE
Service was friendly and nice.

ATMOSPHERE
The style is really unique. The first half of the restaurant looks very ordinary. I highly recommend that you reserve a table at the back or in the outdoor area on sunny days. Both reimagined with Japan in mind.

RATING
I like the way they went with a part of their interior design. Yes, it can be improved but it is very rare to even find this type of restaurant. The menu on the other hand is just not my thing. I want more warm dishes made with love. Give me some good ramen or curry rice and I will come back for sure. Or if you love Sushi and like it, please let me know.

We just had dinner here. Sushi and udon was truly delicious! And service was friendly and helpful. A real gem of a restaurant.

Fantastic and very authentic food. You should definitely come here if you’re looking for great Japanese restaurant! Service is excellent ☺️
