I tried this restaurant several times, and as an Iranian who has been in the best Iranian restaurants in Iran and Europe, I can't give more than 4 stars. The food was OK, the staff were friendly and the service was quite fast. Try "mix warm appetizer" if you are vegetarian, it was good. The payment method is cash.

I have tried this restaurant 3 times in 2019, 2020 and 2021. I could distinctly feel the deterioration of food quality.

2019: excellent, recommended!
2020: so so, give it a chance one more time!!
2021: awful, NOT recommended at all!!!

I ordered a menu for two persons. It includes Kobideh #Kebab, Joje Kebab and Chenje Kebab. We also ordered Kashk Bademjun (#Auburgine) and #Dough for drink.

Kobideh was too smelly and taugh! Joje Kebab wasn't tender and easily chewed. Chenje Kebeb had a better condition compared to the other.
It is not worth the money at all. I paid €50 for an unsatisfactory quality. There is always a good question that why some restaurants do not try to maintain a good quality.

**The last but not least is that they don't accept payment by card! You need to have cash with yourself otherwise you need to find somewhere to get cash. And when you call to reserve, they don't inform you before hand.

Compare to many Persian (Iranian) restaurants I visited in Europe I can grade Alborz as a decent one. In my two visits here, I mostly had various kababs. The best Alborz can offer is Kubideh. Unfortunately Chenje and Barg kababs are just satisfactory and nothing more. Compare to Parsa restaurant in Amsterdam, Alborz grants a lower grade in quality.

The personnel in Alborz are good in delivering the orders quickly. That can be a bit friendlier however.

Great atmosphere clean Restaurant with great service and staff very friendly and helpful with English. Clean utensils and amazing tasting food and fresh ingredients. Very generous and complimentary with tea, bread, onion. Highly recommend the Zoreshk Polo, Koobideh, Gormeh Sabzi.

The food was great and tasty. I will not give 5 stars rate just because they gave me a bill which was not our bill with double price ! They apologized because of that but if i didn't know persian, they might charge us double ! So be careful about your bill and check it with what you have ordered.

disappointing service. the waitresses and waiters are fully ignorant and give you the expression to eat and pay asap. at entrance nobody cares what u want unless you go and ask for! worst experience of ordering and serving i’ve had in restaurant.

Yes this is 21st century and surprisingly there are such restaurant like Alborz that they don't accept the payment by card, without giving you any information about it earlier!!!!
The rude and impolite staff.
No matter howmuch the foods are good when there is no welcoming attitude. First and last time I tried them.
