Nice cathedral, very rich history behind and a difficult challenge to go up to the top of the tower. Good experience especially in good weather when you may see the city...

This fountain is so called because the centrepiece of the fountain is a sculpture of Saint Peter, who can be identified by his holding the keys to heaven. The centrepiece features four lions acting as the foot of the pedestal and supporting three circular basins joined together to form a sort of clover leaf. The statue of Saint Peter stands at the centre, above the basins.

The interesting thing is that water flows from outlets of the edges of the basin as well as the mouths of the lions. That and I've never seen one of the apostles as the centrepiece of a fountain. A nice fountain to visit along with the cathedral.

A small, pleasant fountain next to the Cathedral with a sculpture of Saint Peter with the keys to heaven. Built in 1870.
