We had been several times to "Pinocchio" the pizzeria run by the restaurant - and that in itself is a different class of pizza, when compared to options in Cologne. However, we had always been enticed and curious about giving the main restaurant a chance - and boy, if we're not glad we did. The food and the place look very simple and homey, reminding you of a family-run Trattoria anywhere in Italy. But the food did that feeling absolute justice. Everything we ordered was on the money - bruschetta, Cannelloni (both the seasonal vegetarian option, as well as their regular menu beef option as well), which came even with complimentary breadlings as a side. The service was top notch, friendly and attentive. In a nutshell, it is not a fancy restaurant, but the food quality makes up for it at a more than reasonable price point.
We will be gladly coming back again here.
