Food is very good - you can taste a little bit of German cuisine. Staff is also nice and try to get your order on a good amount of time, however, it was raining a lot (literally on our food!!!!) and they appeared not to be very happy as we asked to eat inside because the small tent was not working (and it won’t if they keep putting the tables in the between two tents with a space) - it was a little bit strange.

There is only one rösti on the English menu and it’s chicken with tomato sauce. I ordered it and got spinach. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes at lunchtime so by the time it arrived we had to eat it.

No table was offered until we mentioned we want to eat, when all of a sudden any table was available, even though the place remained half-empty for several hours after. But the main problem is that there is no card payment, cash only.

Tipycal German food in the square. Service was fast and the portion was big . There was only one waiter so she was running all over the places to serve everyone , so I think the restaurant could lend her a hand .

A very good restaurant to eat authentic German food! The food is well-cooked, plentiful, and not very expensive. The staff speak both German and English, but the menu is only in German, which can make it difficult.

I tried the pork knuckle, Schinkenhaxe, which is 1.7 kg or 3.75 lbs. While the waiter did warn me, I was still surprised at the massive size. Recommend splitting this dish with a friend.

Just a heads-up, I'm not sure if all German restaurants are like this, but they do not offer "free tap water" and you are obliged to either buy water or another drink, so be prepared for that.
