It’s a nice place. But unfortunately it can be a bit loud. They drive around a small John Deere lawnmower just to collect the rubbish. Also, beware that the public times state it is open until 19:00. However, they start calling everyone out of the water at 18:30. It seems like a sweet spot for bringing the family. I wouldn’t come again though, especially for the price.

One of the best places for a day out with the kids in Cologne.
The weather needs to be right, but if you have that and have taken enough "stuff" then everyone will be happy.
You can't beat swimming in "real" water. Even with a few sticks and weeds it will always beat a chlorinated pool.

Just arrived here to discover it is closed (on a regular Sunday) with no warning on website or Google. Lots of disappointed guests outside. Please explain?

Lovely natural lake with a man made beach surrounded by grass and trees to picnic

Very nice place, in the middle of the woods. Closed in winter.
