The atmosphere in this place is unbelievable, it radiates happiness and cheerfulness it’s hard to explain. The food was good, the portions were more than generous for the price. If you’re looking for a place to eat authentic comfort german food it’s the place to go. The only thing holding me back from giving it 5 stars is how unfriendly the waiter that took care of my order was (the 2 other staff members I have interacted with were really nice).
PS : I had to wait for almost half an hour for a table, looks like it tends to get very busy so I think it’s better to make a reservation in advance.

Friendly staff with patience for non German speakers and cozy warm atmosphere. Very busy on a Monday night but didn’t mind waiting for table ( take out service is also available)
And the food delicious…I had the Jagerschnitzel which is pork schnitzel with mushroom gravy it was very good! My server was the best!
I love the way the beers ???? keep coming. They will be automatically replaced until you place a coaster on the top of your glass to indicate you’re done. A pen mark is placed on the coaster to indicate how many beers you have had - so cool and efficient.
So many other little things were done well with service and food-even the ketchup tasted great. Great job all around ????

Weird restaurant. The food was normal German food. Not amazing, but we weren't expecting it to be amazing, we just wanted to have a quick lunch. However, the staff was so weird. They made you feel like they just have more work because of you. Also, there was this Lithuanian guy who came to the counter to ask if he can make an order and the waiter got angry at him for asking to order. Not that they were super busy or sth. In general, poor service. At the end they asked us for a tip. ????

For anyone looking for a very German dining experience, this is the place to be! I rated it 4 stars because without a reservation, you have to wait (sometimes up to 1 hour) to be seated. Still, waiting for 1 hour in Max Stark is definitely fun and worth it! Staff are incredibly friendly, speak English and do their best to serve you until you are seated. The restaurant offers a daily specials menu with seasonal dishes.

My personal favourite part is: you are seated on a shared table and sometimes get to meet great people from all over Europe that have also come to Max Stark for a typical German cultural experience.

Good price and good place to try typical German food. They have an English menu which is helpful if you are a tourist.
