First time with tours and tour guides. This is completely based on my experience and not generalising.

Our tour guide was extremely amazing and laser crisp. He left no stone unturned.

The hotel rooms were comfortable and bus was manageable.

However, we found the tour hectic and tiring. Too many things stuffed into the schedule and a lot of information which is monotonous.

If someone asks us how did it go, I would probably say it was too hectic and tiring! On the go always which makes it impossible to concentrate or enjoy especially during winter.

I would not opt for this next time given my experience this time.

Apart from that, the tour team was really friendly, accommodating and understanding.

Our journey to Paris was great. My inquiries were answered quickly. Nice tour guide and driver. Phillip was very helpful, he even gave us the English version of his explanation during the tour.... Thanks a bunch for everything, Mango tours!!

I will definitely recommend this tours to everyone who would like to have budget friendly trips across Europe as the hotel provided, bus journey, itinerary etc were good and definitely better compared to the competition.
Point to note while choosing this tour:
Tour guide will mostly speak in German even though he or she knows English well. They will not repeat or hit a common ground for your understanding. You will have to wait for certain instructions in English at the end.
Tour guides are well behaved but need more training to provide better customer service as this will definitely get good business for future.

I wish there was an option for no star, would have opted that. We booked a one day trip to Paris with Mango tours for the first time. Me and my husband have been to Paris before with other Tours and have had such successful and joyful trips. Unfortunately, the days we wanted to visit our known tours weren't available so we had no option but to choose them. The trip started with an end minute delay in departure and change of location. We were all so tired that finally when we sat in bus around 11.15 which was supposed to be 10.15, we were relieved that now we can get some sleep till we reach Paris. To our shock we were made to switch buses at 2 o'clock in the morning. We were 5 adults and one child, 5 year old. This was the most disturbing thing for all of us. Still we managed our way. Finally, when we were getting some rest they made a break at 5 o'clock and asked everyone to leave the bus. How can anyone be so insensitive? Especially in a business where customers comfort and safety must be a priority. We had to wake our baby on board. We all were so tired that our day ahead went so slow. In the end usually there is boat trip after which you can board the buses. But they are cold hearted money minded people, they had made a tour in end called light tour anyone who wants to sit in the bus must pay extra 8 euro per person and sit. It was so disappointing coz we had old and young people with us and we had to pay extra which we have never paid with other tours. While comimg back they made us wait ay Köln Bonn Airport for more than 40 min coz the people who had went for London trip were returning and we waited for them to board so we could reach our homes. It was a big disappointment for all of us. It is my personal message to anyone who reads my review every word of it is true kindly think through before booking a tour with them. Terrible services.

This was the worst and terrible experience i have ever experienced.
1. At first the bus has started late from köln.
2. The ibis budget room provided was terrible with damaged floor and with out door mats.
3. And they sold a ticket for an observatory by lying that they we take us there but then we went to Paris they said we have to go there alone by taking metro tickets.
4. On the second day they arrived 20 minutes late by saying that the bus met with an accident
5. On the second day we wanted to go to castle because they said it would take 2 hours to visit the castle and made us buying the tickets, but after going there they have forgotten to take us inside and we had to stand one and half hour on the queue itself. When I called after an hour they said that they forgot to take us inside.
I will never suggest this tour to anyone and also will not travel next time after having such a horrible experience.

The price and hotel you get, first of all, is a fairly decent deal. That's why we originally went with this as our trip to London for New Years Eve. The hotel (Aloft Excel) was awesome! Not only was the bus late for picking us up (by over 30 minutes) but every time we were to meet with them they were 10+ minutes late. We were to meet on a street in London on the first day after an hour of walking around, but they gave no specific spot just the street name. So we had eyes rolled at us for being late, when really we were on the street 10 minutes early, just not the correct spot. When leaving London at midnight of our final day, we called to be sure they were on the way and we were in the correct spot, they told us "It's not midnight yet," and it was honestly 1 minute before the clock struck 12.

The time management is horrible, we got on the bus at 11pm and got to our destination at 1 the next afternoon, yet the hotel was not open yet so we didn't go there first? Why wouldn't a trip pick up in the morning, drive all day and drop us at the hotel so we can go from there? That is what other organized trips normally do. Pick up on our last day they grabbed our bags from the hotel at 10 am, we checked out at 12 and then met the bus at midnight in the city to take us home. Again, the time was funky on that. Why not arrange it so we are picked up to head home around hotel check out?!

Overall a very rude experience, not to mention they didn't speak any english with us. They were able to speak it as they did on the first night but from then on they didn't at all. Given we were the small few, but regardless this was open to anyone in the area.

I booked the New Years Eve 2015 trip to london. My best friend booked there several times but this year was a disaster. We arrived in London approximately 11.00 o'clock. We had 1 hour left in order to be able to check-in. But MANGO Tours decided to do a three hours "Bus City Tour".
MANGO Tours kicked all the customers out in the middle of the city in order to provide their paid service called "Bus City Tour". That means if you do not pay the Bus Tour before the (Hotel) check-in they will leave you alone in the middle of the city. MANGO Tours expected that i am going to the London City with pyjama because i did not want their paid services at all, altough the Bus City Tour was the last years free of charge.
They do not care whether you can speak english or not. They do not even care if you have any physical disability or similar (like a woman there). I had luck that my best friend knew the city really well because he lived there once. You have to carry all of your things when you do not trust your mate who is sitting next to you. I had to carry e.g. my laptop during those three hours in a strange country and i got backpain.
They also provided overpriced tickets for madame tussaud than anywhere else. They advised that their rented clubs are better than the others outside etc. I would not recommed anybody to take the service of MANGO Tours if he/she is not prepared to those situations. The service staff was not available after arrival in London because they were doing holiday in London too and had no time for questions. It might be a cheap service but thats what you get for your money. When my best friend asked the service personal in the bus why they are charging people for the "Bus City Tour" because that service was for free and taken for granted the past years. The service personal became really angry and impolite after that asked question. They denied and lied that this service was free the past years.
