The location was great. It is situated right on a large park, specifically right on a little lake. If you get a room with a view it's quite nice. Rooms in the opposite side aren't bad either as the building is far enough from the street that you don't even year the tram go by. It is about a 5 minutes walk to a grocery store that is open until midnight, Rewe. The rooms are definitely dated and the cleaning staff seems inexperienced but that is likely a problem across Germany from there not being enough workers available. All things considered, I think it was a reasonable price. I wish both elevators worked and that the one that did work wasn't so slow.

When we arrived the reception told us they did not have beds for everybody in our reservation. We requested then a refund and they told us that it was our fault because we accepted the terms (we just booked it normally via booking). Their terms are that they do not guarantee beds for their guests, and they do not refund money.

I assumed no refund is intended when you as a guest cancel a reservation, but if you get to a hotel and you cannot sleep in a bed, I would assume that this is something basic a hotel should supply.

Two of us had to sleep on the floor, with no sheets so we used our own towels. We asked for some sheet to improvise a bed on the floor but they only gave us one set. So that meant we either lied directly on the dirty floor, or use as sheets to cover. I didn't sleep very much and was cold during the night. The floor is an old carpet that was dusty and burnt. There was a facemask from previous guests in the room which gave us this really bad feeling about how well they clean the rooms. Also the air conditioner in one of the rooms did not work.

I found this to be my worst hotel experience ever. The staff was not professional and lacked any care to help us solve the issue. There was a man with a beard at the reception who would talk to the assistant in german (telling her to tell us that it's our problem), he assumed we didn't understand german. When I talked to him directly he simply told me its not his problem and he left. He would not talk to me directly. He seemed to be a manager of some sort, but I found this to be extremely unpolite and highly unprofessional.

We were here for due to a flight cancellation with Eurowings. We had such a stressful day and the reception staff were nice. However, the staff in the restaurant were so rude and unhelpful. They sat us in a different area to other customers, we tried to order wine and we never got it. We reminded the waiter and even told the manager several times that we were still waiting. After over 40 minutes of waiting and our food getting cold, we gave up and left. There was another eurowings customer waiting for ages to have her order taken. Meanwhile the other customers were being served food, having their orders taken and getting their drinks with no problem. If Eurowings sends you to this hotel I cannot recommend it because they will neglect you compared to the other customers.

Rooms were okay but dated and basic.

Bed is fairly hard, some outdated things and the AC sucks when it's 30+ outside. Reception staff is super nice and friendly tho

really good location: very nice lake view. directly at the forest. 5 minutes walk to tram station. A lot free parking spots at night closeby.

I was in hotel 2 nights . The bathroom was very dirty.
The room next to us was fighting and beating at 2 in the morning. I reported to the hotel reception in the morning and asked them to review the videos of the fight that had taken place in the corridor. He did not answer at all and did not even apologize.
The customer orientation of this hotel is very weak.
Parking capacity is also very limited and can not be planned.

Positive points of this hotel:
Good quality hotel breakfast.
Good place hotel.
In total, the quality of this hotel is not 4 stars and it should be given 3 stars.

Yummy breakfasts, we got one room for 4 people, beds where large enough to accommodate. Location is wonderful by the park, yet close to the center and to the street with the shops, cafes, restaurants. Parking was a bit difficult above ground in the evenings, but were able to park below.
Somewhat dated Hotel, but clean and has some renovations done since our last visit few years ago
