Service is good, personnel are very friendly, and the location has quite a few shops and eateries around, in case you want to eat out. Connection to the city by public transport is good too.
The rooms are decent and clean, but there were several issues with the double room I stayed in: the shower has very little water pressure, and the protective screen leaks creating puddles underneath and around the toilet, so I had to clean at least 2 huge puddles of water after every shower.
Breakfast was included for me, but was served between 6:30 and 7:30, which was definitely too early (be advised, they do serve breakfast on demand at their restaurant, and offer room service and laundry).

Air conditioned rooms in a heatwave make this place extra appealing. Solid breakfast, not far from many public transport links, and interesting neighbourhood shops. A good night of sleep was had.

We get the room that have nice view. We stayed about 4 days here, but all the people at the reception desk was very kind and nice. even at the early morning and night. the room was not bad and also clean than other hotels around the cathedral. and there is REWE in front of hotel, so that i can get water or other stuffs more easily. plus, they provides some coffee and cups at the robby that i can enjoy all the time ! it was great time.

Best European hotel so far. It said "4 stars", but it's defenetely is up to "5 Stars" when it comes to service. Was here during gamescom and was like supper happy. Service - Awesome. Staff - Awesome, Rooms - Extra clean and cleaned every day if you don't mind, Breakfast - have a big variety of tasty meals. Public transport stops, shops and cafe's are also near.
Would 100% try to catch a room here next year.

It is a very nice hotel, definetly worth the price, but with a few details. The shower design that we got in our room was a bit bothering since the water kept coming out through one corner, I think it'd be better if the door covered a bigger are of the Bathtub. The Breakfast Buffet is totally worth it, we had a great meal to start the day and left very satisfied. The beds are comfortable, our room had a very pleasant view and having free coffee at the reception (which by the way is very well decorated) definetly is something to be happy about.

We made a booking and it was accepted immediately, however when we arrived they told us they ran out of extra beds so they didnt have a bed for my daughter. Ofcourse we were not happy at all as it was already late so we needed a place to stay. And besides that, why would you accept a booking when you dont have it available?? We stayed in the lobby to contact other hotels and after an hour or so we found another hotel at 45 minutes driving, so we went to the reception to say we found something else and then a colleague heard us talking and said they still have a extra bed available so we could stay there.. very strange! But because it was already late and we were very tired we decided to take the offer and stay there after all. The room was not bad but the service was awful! they didnt even have some extra towels available, after a couple of hours i went to the reception and they still didnt have it only some very small towels. Very disappointing for a 4 stars hotel and expected some kind of compensation.

Bright spacious room (on 6th floor) with view of the Cathedral. Motorway traffic noise consistently loud when window was open, no sound when closed. Good choice of different English TV channels! We went down for dinner on Sunday either to eat in the bar or restaurant to find both were closed. However the hotel failed to inform their guests! Being a Sunday in Germany that didn't leave many options. Very infuriating. Otherwise pleasant enough, apart from the weather, which was out of anyone's control!
