Top hotel room has fantastic window views. The receptionist we met when checked in on 6 Aug was so lovely and helpful. House keeping, concierge service and restaurant staff are all top class . Only thing to improve is breakfast serving staff. Sunday morning`s breakfast all went well. But the waiter we encountered on Monday morning was rather poor, or we were just unlucky that he took our order for tea and coffee but never returned to our table. We had to wait for a long time to be served.

Great hotel. Fantastic staff/service. Best location in the city. Brilliant breakfast. Very happy with my hotel choice.

The rooms are starting to feel quite old though.

Amazing property, well located in Cologne, especially for the price. Rooms were large and spacious. The hotel is super convenient to Köln Messe and 10 min across the river from the main station. Other than a cancelled train, getting here was a breeze.

If you’re spending a weekend, including breakfast in your rate is a wise move, there is not much around open early on weekend mornings plus the buffet spread is well better than average for Germany (full English, pancakes, waffles, 4 egg choices, bread/fruit/cold cuts spread). Most of the restaurant action is on the other side of the river, but there are a couple good options within 5-10 min walking as well.

My suggestion, spend the money and splurge on the club floor, the view of the cathedral and river during breakfast are worth the upgrade price.

Very lovely service.

On the first night, I wasn't too happy with my room as I had been placed into a disabled room, so the bathroom was not what I expected. However after enquiring about other rooms, Fawad was able to place me in another room! Made my stay very much enjoyable!

Not sure where to start. I was surprised by how bad this hotel was. Given the name and the chain reputation, i was shocked.
1- Rooms were not clean and old furniture.
2- My room didn’t have a window. Latterly no window and i asked to be put on another room.
3- The receptionist was the most unprofessional i have ever dealt with. My singing in was so bad and no information on so many levels. The moment i got to my room, I received a text from my bank that 200 Euros was deducted aside from what the payed for 4 nights. I went back asking what happened and he said : Oh yes, it is a security deposit!!
4- The rooms were also so dark and i ended up leaving in the morning despite the fact i paid for 4 nights.
Moreover, i still didn’t receive back my cancellation fees neither the deposit and this happened on April 17th when i arrived at night. I checked out the morning of April 18th ???? Never ever again even if it’s for free
Bottomline, sleep under a bridge if you have to but my advice would be DONT go there. 5 stars should be ripped one by one ????

I was charged for staying there, even though my family and I did not. We showed up after 4 hours of driving and a canceled flight earlier that morning hoping to rest before driving to Amsterdam. There was a festival going on with thousands of people, they informed us that the hotel ha very "limited" parking which seemed to be valet on the curbs upfront, and we would have to figure it out. I had booked it through a 3rd party booking agency which was kind enough to submit a refund request for review. For being under such terrible circumstances I was hopeful for a silver lining. One hour later the 3rd party booking agency called back and let us know that they were unwilling to refund us, we had to pay the full amount, and the free parking that was promised on the website is only available some of the time, but under "special circumstances" like that evening it is not guaranteed! This would have been fine and dandy had they warned customers prior to big events that this may be a problem and paying for your parking of walking 8km may be a reality. Even after the booking agent explained this and asked politely to cancel the booking made 30 minutes prior on the highway because we were exhausted....we were still charged and denied any common decency of even an appology. They still charged us full price, receiving no apology or remorse for the situation. The staff was rude, unhelpful, and unacommodating. Save yourself and find another place to stay. Even under the best of circumstances I could not imagine the service getting any higher than what it already was. AND TO SET THR RECORD STRAIGHT, you are making it seem like it is the 3rd party booking service as to why we did not get a refund for the hotel we did not stay in. For clarification purposes the "3RD PARTY" booking service was willing to refund the booking and sent you a letter on our behalf about the situation to help aid in doing so. It was not there fault you denied the refund request, that was all your company's fault. This was not an appology either, this was simply trying to patch up the holes with explanations on your horrible failure at customer service.

Nice location. Nice bar. Strict staff. Threw us out of the parking spot, even when we were staying in the hotel
