We stopped by twice in the last couple of weeks without a reservation and were promptly seated. Of course one of those times was shortly after they opened for the day. We were their first guests. ????

Both times, we thoroughly enjoyed the food/drinks, the relaxed atmosphere and the service.

Food was good, wine list is good too but a bit pricier for Köln. Love the dining outside, great atmosphere.

Pretty average restaurant with nice atmosphere and quite good food. However, when I paid for the meal (AND TIPPED THE WAITRESS!), she gave me back even less change and kept the difference for herself. Just for the information, this took place on plain and simple German language. And it is that eerie feeling that this is not an isolated case, but something rather lasting, SOP... So, when you steal from your PAYING (AND TIPPING) customers, this is what you get - one star. Would give zero because of this, but...not given option, so...

EDIT: In the light of one of the swiftest replies on earth, I will correct my review to three stars. I thank you (the management) for being so dedicated and straightforward. However, I find it quite uncomfortable to provide you with more details. It is my belief that any possible action that you have, most probably, already taken (being so quick to reply) will be sufficient. On the same note, and because of your reply, I will gladly visit your establishment again (but as a normal guest). Quite possibly even recommend you. As I have said, nice atmosphere and quite good food.

Fantastic food and excellent attention to detail! Try the goat cheese wrapped in aubergine or the bruscetta and the salads were amazing too
