Such a beautiful place to visit, and so close to the city! Easily accessible with public transport, with just a short walk at the end (5 minutes). Lots of wildlife, and very well maintained. There was also free toilets located in the botanical garden area

A Fantastic place to spend an evening with your family. This is a kid friendly place with play grounds and picnic spots. If anyone is interested in Dendrology, the garden is constituted with trees from around the globe.

My name is Camilo, and I contact you to make an important observation.

Me and my mom visited the forstbotanischer-garten a few days ago, and we found it extremely beautiful and well organized, it was an amazing place to visit and enjoy nature.

As we walked through, we found the tree from our country, COLOMBIA, and we were so happy with that, we took pictures, videos, and we had a small picnic under OUR tree. Nevertheless, as i got home, I investigated the tree we had seen, and what a sad surprise, the tree that was supposed to be Colombian, Liquidambar styraciflua, was actually “a deciduous tree in the genus Liquidambar native to warm temperate areas of eastern North America and tropical montane regions of Mexico and Central America” it is Not a Colombian tree.
That is a huge mistake for a well-recognized botanical garden as yours.
I hope you correct that mistake in order to make it better and that this observation finds you well.

Lovely downtown botanical garden and park. Good to walk through inside. Around this botanical garden there is a big park. It’s very good for joggers and walking people. It’s also good for meditation and also using as small games. Some people using this park for barbecue. Which make sometime messy there.

Beautiful place to walk or run or wander around the maize of footpaths in the wooded gardens with the peacocks and other wildlife.
