This statue stands in tribute to Kaiser Wilhelm II, the last emperor of the German Empire before it's dissolution after the First World War.

The statue is a larger than life equestrian statue of the emperor in his military uniform, probably his Field Marshal uniform as he is also holding a Marshals baton in his right hand, while the left is holding onto the reins of the horse. On his head, he wears a helmet decorated with the Reichsadler, which is the name of the Imperial German Eagle.

A very majestic statue and is located on south side of the Hohenzollern Bridge, on the west bank of the River Rhine.

Great view by the river and with walking distance you get to pub street easily just follow the light!

A nice equestrian statue of Kaiser Wilhelm II, the last emperor of Germany that ruled it from 1888 to 1918. It’s a good looking statue, although not really at perfect scale.
