Highly recommended! Excellent Italian food in Cologne, very good service from friendly mature Italian waters! Have never been dissapointed, either from the regular menue or the day specials!

One of my favourite places in Lindenthal. The staff is very friendly and the food is very good as well. The have a lot of tables in and outside so you don't need a reservation - most of the time.

The only thing I do not like or never understood about this place is there are TVs hanging in some corners - but maybe that's Italian :)

Absolutely fantastic, fresh Italian food. Stefano our server was warm, friendly and quick. Looking forward to visiting again! Wish I had taken some food pics, but I ate it all do fast!

Very poor service. I was served a wrong pizza, and after pointing out that that's not what I ordered, the waiter tried to convince me that "also that one was good". I highlighted that anyway, the wrong pizza is also 5 euros more expensive than the one I ordered but he answered "it's ok".

Therefore, I ate the wrong pizza, also because I didn't want to send it back since that would have meant waste of food and that my boyfriend (who also received his pizza) had to eat his pizza alone while I had to wait.

Surprise came with the bill, where they charged me for the wrong (most expensive) pizza. After I pointed that out, the waiter was very rude and in front of everyone, loudly, he said that I ate the pizza anyway, so I had to pay for it. Even if it was their mistake. Very different way of interpretation of the sentence "it's ok", I'd say.

In his argument the waiter even said that what I ordered was not available anyway because they finished the ingredients (something he could have said before, anyhow). Funny thing, the pizza I ordered came afterwards to the table next to the one where we were sitting. Ingredients magically appeared then. I didn't want to complain any further and make a scene, so we left, quite shocked to these manners.

Also, very greedy behaviour.
For 5 euros they definitely lost a future customer.

Servizio molto scarso. Mi è stata servita una pizza sbagliata, e dopo aver fatto notare che non era quello che avevo ordinato, il cameriere ha cercato di convincermi che "anche quella era buona". Ho sottolineato che comunque, la pizza sbagliata costava 5 euro in più di quella che avevo ordinato ma lui mi ha risposto con un occhiolino "Va bene".

Quindi, ho mangiato la pizza sbagliata, anche perché non volevo rispedirla indietro dato che avrebbe comportato uno spreco di cibo e che il mio ragazzo (che aveva ricevuto anche lui la sua pizza) avrebbe dovuto mangiare la sua pizza da solo mentre io dovevo aspettare.

La sorpresa è arrivata con il conto, dove mi hanno addebitato la pizza sbagliata (la più costosa). Dopo averlo fatto notare, il cameriere, molto scortesemente e davanti a tutti, ad alta voce, mi ha detto che ho mangiato la pizza comunque, perciò avrei dovuto pagare la pizza più cara, e non quella che avevo chiesto. Anche se è stato un loro errore. Un modo molto diverso di interpretare la frase "va bene", direi.

Oltretutto il cameriere ha anche detto che quello che ho ordinato non era comunque disponibile perché avevano finito gli ingredienti (cosa che avrebbe potuto dire prima, in ogni caso). Cosa divertente, la pizza che ho ordinato è arrivata poco dopo al tavolo accanto a quello dove eravamo seduti. Gli ingredienti erano apparsi magicamente. Non volevo lamentarmi ulteriormente o fare una scenata, così siamo andati via, abbastanza scioccati da queste maniere.

Per 5 euro hanno sicuramente perso due futuri clienti.

Really nice restaurant offering a range of menu choices for all budgets from cheap and cheerful (but excellent) pizzas up to more expensive fish and meat dishes and daily specials. Usually busy. Nice atmosphere and ambience. Worth coming just for the profiteroles, they are amazing!
