We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and we liked it. The location is excellent. It's close to Neumarkt and there's lots of shopping nearby. We stayed in room 14 and it had a bonus feature in the form of access to the flat roof outside. We sat out there many times on a blanket. The morning sun was very enjoyable out there.
The breakfast was simple continental style but fully sufficient for us.
The beds were softer than most hotel beds and that suited us well.
Our room, number 14, had a small bath tub and a nice mirror for make up. A big window let in lots of light making it easier for her to do her make up in the morning.

Unfortunately there were some negatives as well. The hotel is a bit worn down and in need of some restoration as well as a deep clean of things like light fixtures. The other thing was the WiFi. In our room it was very low signal strength. I think that the router was placed on the top floor (where the smaller rooms with shared bathrooms are located) because up there it was very good signal strength.
It would also have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room when staying for as long as we did but it wasn't essential to us.

All in all it was a positive experience.

We booked an apartment with wifi
When we arrived the lady showed us the apartment across the street two stairs up, no elevator, no wifi and it was not an apartment but a very simple outdated hotelroom.
The room was quiet because it was at the back of the street. The bed was good. Tv only german.
No waterheater or coffee machine.
Two dirty cups in the bathroom
Shower was not good.
One closet was broken and could not be opened.

The breakfast was okay.
Staff was willing to help.

The hotel is ideally situated for shopping and Christmas markets.

The advertise wifi yet there is none and probably has never been. The woman said there is no wifi in the building where the service desk is but she said there was in the rooms. We get to the toom and also no wifi. Very small rooms, smaller bathrooms, my camper (RV) back in the US could fit the bathroom into a kitchen drawer. The free breakfast was not that bad but not that good either. Try to stay elsewhere.

Rooms are nice and basic, but internet is almost in available in the first floor. Service is great and friendly, and breakfast is as good as it can get with such a small place.

Good location, good service. Rooms are basic, a bit run down, but perfectly clean. Breakfast was good. Good rooms for one night in Köln.

Best is the central location, the style of furniture is quite outdated. My room was below the roof and didn't get warm during winter even the heating was on.

It's a bit of double. It's cheap and not your best hotel experience but the location is perfect. Everything in Koln is almost at walking distance from this place.
