We came here to celebrate a birthday and spend a nice evening. We found the bistro via the Michelin guide. The service was amazing and absolutely unpretentious, the meals were extraordinary and the location is beautiful. You can feel that they do love what they are doing. A lovely place.

Creative and delicious cuisines, perfect and professional service, lovely and private atmosphere. I've visited here twice; once for lunch and the other time for dinner. Both experiences were delightful and satisfying. This place simply deserves the price and 'Bib Gourmand' from Michelin.

Uncomplicated bistro with a comprehensive French menu in a nice neighborhood away from the crowds. We were there on a hot summer evening, so dividing attention between the terrace and the restaurant was sometimes a stretch. Nevertheless, the staff was friendly.

Well I have to say we were slightly underwhelmed. Although they have an impressive track record of mentions in the Michelin guide, our visit was most ordinary.

It might be due to our stopping by on a Monday night in the middle of July, but on slow nights such as these it is more important than ever to take care of your guests. Our hostess, which seemed to be running the restaurant, was very friendly and nice, but also very whimsical and a bit preoccupied with friends and other visitors. We were not in a hurry, but felt like we were not her priority at times.

They were low on wine and the selection and knowledge was sub par. Food prices were a bit high for the main courses, but otherwise quite fair.

The food itself is honest, French- inspired cooking. Plenty of salt, butter and flavour. Very tasty and fulfilling but not so creative. I expected more. Also some other German and middle eastern influences and we quite enjoyed or appetizers of hummus, salami, bread and a nice complimentary veal terrine.

All in all, an enjoyable visit, let down by high expectations, some neglect in service and pricey main dishes. But the food and atmosphere is really good.

As with most, if not all, French restaurants that I've been to in several different countries, this place doesn't disappoint. The ambience, decoration and staff are all lovely. The service is excellent. And the food is obviously fabulous and delicious. There are enough wine options to satisfy most people but don't expect a whole book of options from around the world. Just make sure you book because you haven't got a chance of getting in without a reservation. Also make sure you have a German debit card or cash to pay as no credit cards or international debit cards are accepted.

A very nice restaurant with plenty of good ambiance and service with a personal approach! The food was great, not excellent. Still very recommendable.

Small with only 4 tables, but this is the restaurant my wife and I remember as our best culinary experience. The pheasant is something we still talk about. The wine was poured liberally, but fortunately the restaurant can organise an London cab.
