We use to go to Köln twice a year and to have our dinners there.
Good food, good prices, welcoming waiters and very kind owner... What else?
One thing to know: from Monday to Thursday, every evening a special main course focus is available.
My favorite: Grill Mix... 5 pieces of meat in one plate... Enormous but so delicious!

Very nice and cosy. The staff was very polite and helpful. It was almost full, so it is a better idea to reserve in advance. The turkey steak was hard and served with a salty mushroom sauce, spinach and Crockett. Unfortunately, my friend later revealed that the Gensebrust or the Goose breast was not fresh at all. It is pitty as my friend likes this dish very much and he was really disappointed. They could have told us that it is not fresh and we could have ordered something else. The waffle seemed good, nevertheless, not crispy at all and rather chewy. It was served with cream, cherry and vanilla ice cream. I had to revise this review after my friend having me told about the not fresh dish he had been served.

Good brewpub at the outskirts of Cologne very popular with the locals with a fast and friendly staff. The food is good but not exceptional, check the website for special offers.

Wow, what a pleasant surprise! A great restaurant with a cosy atmosphere and lovely staff that makes the whole experience much more pleasant. The owner/manager shakes hands with all his guests and makes you feel welcome and at home. And the food is absolutely perfect, juicy and well prepared, and really big portions. Definitely a hidden gem!

Beat food I had in all of Köln. I'll never forget this experience. Fantastic meal and environment. Good for families too.
