Very nice Japanese restaurant in the centre of Cologne! Food was amazing and so fresh. We tried different things from the menu and everything was great, especially the tori-Don and the sashimi platter with five different types of fish. Interior wasn't something you haven't seen before but it's a nice and cozy corner! Highly recommended!

Cozy little restaurant, very good food.
We ordered the Saketeri-Bento and a Niku Udon,
And as dessert Kuro Goma ice cream.

Price was reasonable, portions were large and tasty!

Authentic Japanese restaurant
We ordered a sushi platter and rib eye steak don, both are very good and recommended.
We loved the atmosphere there.
Tips: Better to make a reservation first

For me, this is one of the best authentic Japanese restaurants in cologne. The service is very friendly and the food is really really good. Sometimes I really have a craving for Udon or a good Bento AND a bit of sushi and Akira is the only place I can get my cravings settled ???? I love this place!

I feel like home-cooked food and It was beyond yummy. BTW i love Love Love their dog, so lovely.
