Today I'm sharing my experience about a Klinikum Chemnitz. I'm really happy to have a Klinikum like this in Chemnitz where special International Praxis Center is there, the doctors here are really helpful and they provide you proper medical advice. They also help you with all the medical problems and with that they give a proper advise for your daily life. That was a really great experience here. Thank you Doctor's and always help us like this.

Very rude and careless department. Called to book an appointment and at first they spoke in english and booked and next time they denied to speak in english and denied to transfer me in international department. Also everytime I called they disconnected phine on me. I do not umderstand that id we do not speak Deutsch then are we not welcome to get health services. We pay proper tax and health insurance amount, how are we not supposed to get these services with respect. If someone have any emergency and they are hanging up phone on patience, he or she can never get to talk to those people for help. Pathetic services.

Stayed here for 5 days and had the worst experience ever! Gave me a fear of hospitals. Had a vaginal exam with the door open with random nurses walking in and out. Was shouted at by a nurse of arrival about insurance even though I gave her the card for my private insurance. Most of the nurses were very rude and didn't speak slowly when I asked them because I can't understand German that well when it is spoken very fast. I got seen by one doctor and when I said "können Sie langsamer sprechen bitte" she said "Wir sind in Deutschland and wir sprechen Deutsch" ... a German friend then called the hospital to enquire why they won't speak any English to me , and then when the doctor came back she spoke in English. I did my best to speak German and I think people in the Healthcare profession should not punish people for not speaking perfect German. Foreigners get sick too.

I used to suffer from Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome (AKA - MALS, CACS, or Dunbar Syndrome). Everyday I was exhausted, I had digestive issues, constant pain in my epigastric region, bladder problems, and a variety of other issues which degraded my quality of life. I searched and searched for answers and found the solution with Dr. Seifert and his team here at Klinikum Chemnitz.

I am very happy to say that the laparoscopic surgery was a HUGE success. The scars are minimal and the recovery was short. I was in the hospital for 6 days and now it is day ten and I have been home for awhile. I not have absolutely no pain from the surgery or the MALS anymore. I feel liberated, I can breathe normally, I am not having bladder issues that I used to have, and I do not get exhausted just walking up a flight of stairs- it's wonderful! I never knew I could feel this good. The team here has given me new hope and a new life. The staff speaks wonderful english and they are SO nice.

If you suffer from MALS like I did, I highly recommend you make the trip to Germany (whether you live here or not) to see Dr. Seifert and his team at Klinikum Chemnitz. A round trip plane ticket from the states costs only $1000, the hospital offers guest rooms for accompanying family for 30 Euro/night, and the cost of the surgery is nearly 1/4 - 1/2 the cost of the same surgery in America. Before I saw Dr. Seifert, I saw Dr. Scholbach (pediatrician) in the same clinic and he is equally as talented and does a lot of research specifically on MALS. These people are changing lives!

Very bad experience, my knee is swollen, ligaments are defected with intolerable pain but I have to wait more than 6 hours in Emergency (probably because of my brown skin color) until a new team took over then they allowed me to make x-ray which shows only bones and they told me to go to my Hausarzt to make MRT as they don't have.

The personal it's really nice, most of them don't speak English or another language but they try to treat you as best as they can.
