Nice but we expected more
We stayed at the hotel and had breakfast in the restaurant. The breakfast was ok but we would have expected a little more from a 4 star hotel. It was quite confusing and the selection wasn't the greatest. The arrangement of the buffets (probably due to corona) caused long queues and crowds.
Also about the hotel:
The area is beautiful and there is a lot to discover. The ambience is fantastic and invites you to linger longer. On the "Schlossplatz" there are a few shops, many places to eat and drink. You can go for a walk here! Our room was very nice and spacious, the cleanliness was (apart from 2-3 spiders) almost exemplary. The bathroom was also beautiful and super modern.
But: There were three different parking spaces with different proximity and illumination. There are great parking spaces directly at the hotel entrance, but unfortunately these are almost always full. The others involve foot marches and are quite dark. The reception bar is quite narrow, which causes crowds at check-in and check-out. Our room was in a very inconvenient location right next to the laundry room. The washing machines ran at night and it was incredibly loud. In addition, we had a totally small window with a view of the roof - we didn't see much - even though our room was comparatively expensive. Unfortunately, the hotel's own app can only be downloaded with an iPhone, which is a shame.

Schön, aber wir haben mehr erwartet
Wir haben im Hotel übernachtet und in den Räumen des Restaurants gefrühstückt. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber wir hätten bei einem 4-Sterne-Hotel etwas mehr erwartet. Es war recht unübersichtlich und die Auswahl war nicht die größte. Die Anordnung der Buffets sorgte (vermutlich coronabedingt) für längere Schlangen und Gedrängel.
Außerdem zum Hotel:
Das Areal ist wunderschön und es gibt viel zu entdecken. Das Ambiente ist traumhaft und lädt zum längeren Verweilen ein. Auf dem „Schlossplatz“ gibt es einige Geschäfte, viele Essens- und Trinkmöglichkeiten. Spazieren kann man hier ganz toll! Unser Zimmer war sehr schön und geräumig, Die Sauberkeit war (bis auf 2-3 Spinnen) fast vorbildlich. Auch das Badezimmer war wunderschön und super modern.
Aber: Es gab drei verschieden Parkplätze mit unterschiedlicher Nähe und Ausleuchtung. Direkt am Hoteleingang sind tolle Parkplätze, diese sind aber leider so gut wie immer voll. Die anderen sind mit Fußmärschen verbunden und ziemlich dunkel. Die Rezeptionsbar ist recht eng, was beim Check In und Out für Gedrängel sorgt. Unser Zimmer besaß eine sehr ungünstige Lage direkt neben dem Wäscheraum. Nachts liefen die Waschmaschinen und es war unglaublich laut. Zudem hatten wir ein total kleines Fenster mit Blick auf das Dach – viel sahen wir nicht – und das, obwohl unser Zimmer vergleichsweise preisintensiv war. Die Hoteleigene App lässt sich außerdem leider nur mit einem iPhone downloaden, was schade ist.
