Lovely site right on a lake. Lake beautiful for swimming and paddle boarding. If you have a tent you can pitch right on the lake shore. On site restaurant fantastic. Both for food and the friendliest of staff. Facilities absolutely spotless. I highly recommend and will be returning.

The view is nice the water is great but we had the feeling that the staffs are not that welcoming to the non Germans (might have been due to miss communication)! Also you cannot grill here.

I just happened to pass by with a friend. Weather was surprisingly good the announced rain didn't come. We felt like having a beer or two so decided on entering. There was some kind of event going on, barely managed to find places. There was live music that we found too loud. The place isn't cheap either a glass of beer (2.25dl) cost over 4 euros. For a camping restaurant I find it a bit steep.
Didn't stay long.

Very nice place right next to the lake. Great for children. Nice people and good facilities.

We wanted to use Camping Heider Bergsee just as an overnight place but because of its location and the nearby attractions, we stayed longer then expected in the Brühl area.
The access road to the campingsite is a bit small but still easily accessible for a reasonable sized camper or caravan. The will show you our spot to camp and afterwards you can do the formalities. You can also order your bread for the morning during check-in.
It appeared to be a camping for long term stays and for one night you get a spot which is not the most beautiful one but nevertheless more than OK for a pleasant stay. There are also places near the lake but I guess you will need to stay a bit longer in order to be able to stay on these spots.
Showers u0026 toilets are clean and at the front of the camping. Hot water will cost you 1 Euro.
Not only Phantasialand is closeby, also the Brühl castle is not far from the camping. Definitely worth a visit

Nice area for camping and swimming. The lake ground is full of Algae, so not the most entertaining to swim in The camping place is a very nice choice for campers.
