Interior decor is well done. A food court with a variety of cuisines available. The paella was large and divine. The Ukranian pierogi's were delicious. I went there on 2 days

There's a lot of variety of food and some of the stalls are halal which is good for me and my husband. I love the live music they have every Thursday ????

Wow, what a great food court! Inside a former bank you can find a stunningly big variety of small food stands here, all of them offering freshly prepared food. So, be prepared to travel around the world in small portions. There's plenty of seating space. Although the place looks quite crowded waiting times are easily bearable, even around lunchtime.
My personal favourite is Mataa's Kitchen.

Food mart of the semi-hip variety
Based upon a concept quite common in Germany, Markthalle 8 aims to unite under one roof culinary specialties, authentic and imitated, of a variety of nations. As there seems to be no minimum standard of quality and appearance and unlimited creative freedom, the results are rather mixed. The palette ranges from Korean, Spanish and Ukrainian food prepared by Koreans, Spaniards and Ukrainians, via pizza prepared by anyone but Italians, to nondescript food found on every city street. Trend food, such as Hawaiian bowls, is not mssing (actually there are currently two stalls offering them).
There's popcorn in a dozen flavors, there are oysters and the usual beverages.
Prices in general are not 'food stall prices' but rather higher and, in some cases, ridiculously high for what's offered. This is particularly true of the drinks.
On Saturdays it's a place to see and be seen, which leads to a lack of seating, as large groups tend to occupy the tables for hours on end, which is not really the idea behind food a mart.
And, right, there's a photo booth.

Great choice of different food, a little on the fast food side and could do with a few more loving touches.
Due to all the distancing rules at present limited seating available and the public spaces seem a bit neglected.
We tried Korean, Mexican, Spanish and Hawaiian... Italian, Chinese, Ukrainian potentially on a future visit.
(Would have been great if one could see easier online whats on offer)

Great location and space. A variety of menus to choose. At times there is a live band.
