Hotel Restaurant Havenhaus

I stayed as this hotel whilst I was working in the area for a few days. The staff made me very welcome, and as I could speak no German were very patient with me during any conversations.

The food was excellent and my first experience of German cuisine. As a family run hotel, the atmosphere was friendly and it felt quite homely.

Should I return to Vegesack, my first choice of somewhere to stay will be Havenhaus.

Overpriced. Two stars hôtel at best. No reception, no bells at the door, nothing at this place. I had to walk to Strandlust hotel to get the keys and walk back. And that, I had to call to find that out. Basic amenities are lacking (no ironing board for example). There was mold in the bathroom. The toilet lid was also loose.

Very welcoming and doing everything possible to ensure an enjoyable stay under the latest / strictest Covid-19 Rules. Great breakfast and dinner to!

Lovely place. They speak English very well. You need to go to the main hotel to get your room key. They serve breakfast in the main hotel at 6:30am.
