Breakfast was great but service from the unfriendly lady was questionable. Our friends had booked this place and asked to sit outside, to which she agreed. On the morning of the breakfast she switched things around claiming she needed the outside area for people wanting to drop by the restaurant.

The food is appreciable but the service was a dealbreaker. Enjoying food in that quite and lovely ambience was disturbed by the unpleasant vibes from the service.

Soggy u0026 pre-packaged

Just had lunch here. The. Knipp (a north German haggis) - which should be pan fried crispy, was not. The Bratkartoffeln with it was out of a packet u0026 also not well cooked. This dish arrived 5 minutes before the other two, and nobody bothered giving us knives u0026 forks (we had to fetch them ourselves).

The Currywurst was swimming in a very watery sauce u0026 accompanied by a large serve of crinkley cut frozen packet chips.
The Fish u0026 Chips - 5 very small pre-frozen battered fish bites - also soggy, u0026 a generous portion of chips. That the chips were not soggy is the only positive.

When these finally arrived, the waitress remembered cutlery - but then noticed we had it already.

Don't bother.

Fantastic bar/restaurant, great location with seating outside for sunny days, great customer service.
