This museum-castle is surrounded by a beautiful forest, perfect for a short hike before entering. We visited in autumn so the scenery was magical. The museum is really interesting, it provides a glance into the daily life in the eighteenth century and the maritime tradition of Vegesack. The staff members are very kind and passionate about their history.

The grounds are publicly accessible any time, and it's a beautiful area with water, foliage, trees, and small paths. Perfect for a short walk. I've never been inside the museum itself but I'd still go here again!

A great museum. Here one can find out the intriguing history of Bremen Nord, where from the names of local streets come, and so one. We are lucky to have such a place in our neighborhood.

И не только этим интересен музей. Можно перечислять ещё много всего, но лучше самим приехать и провести здесь выходной день. Пройтись вокруг обводного канала, и насладиться замечательной природой, окружающей замок. После замка, можно отправиться на набережную в порт, где так же интересно прогуляться, посетить информационный центр, музеи и отдохнуть в прекрасном парке вдоль набережной.

Ein sehr schönes und gut erhaltenes Schloss. Im inneren befindet sich ein Museum mit vielen alten wunderschönen Dingen. Eintritt kostet 5 € und ist unter 2G+ möglich. Es lohn sich für jeden der sich für geschichtliche Sachen interessiert. Der außenbereich läd bei guten Wetter zum verweilen ein. Hier und da stehen Bänke wo man auch phantastisch ein Buch lesen kann und im hintergrund das plätschern vom Wasser hat. Rund ums Schloss kann man auch herrlich spazieren gehen.
