The Sterntor city gate provides reminders of Bonn's fortifications in the Middle Ages.
It consists of the remainder of Bonn's old city wall and you can imagine how imposing the city fortifications must have been in the Middle Ages.

Well kept middle ages fortification. Not much to see but if you are walking around it’s worth the quick stop to admire it and take a picture.

Part of the medieval wall and gate.

The centre of Bonn is so compact that it is a stone's throw from ANY of the other main attractions.

As well as the history, the place is full of bars u0026 restaurants to relax in.
