The Schloss Cafe in Poppelsdorf is true to its word.
Confectionery art at a very high level and very appealing creative artistic presentation with fruits and cream and confectionery.
A large selection and assortment of bread, cakes, pastries and baked goodies.
We were spoilt for choice.
The Schwarzwälderkirsch, the Passion fruit Torte, and the baked goodies are simply delicious.
Coffee and hot chocolate were spot on and promptly served.
The service is very friendly, polite and attentive.
We felt absolutely comfortable and cared for in the stylish, modern ambience.
For a relaxing during the day pit stop or for a weekend afternoon.
Highly recommended!!!

It is a nice place but I would say it is expensive if we consider price-quality. Coffee is fine and the variety of desserts is nice but flavor is okay, not impressed

We bought two slices of cake to take home and paid 7,80€. In the Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte were TWO cherry pits! xO -The taste was nice but overpriced for the little pieces. And the two cherry pits took the last bit of joy the cake could give. In our favourite bakery we get much bigger pieces, as delicious as these cakes AND for a better price. Intolerable!

The confectionery, viennoiserie and bread are espectacular in this place. You can skip the coffee though. Everything is fresh and daily baked. A place of reference in Bonn. I particularly recommend the croissants and the eclairs.

The place is clean however the waiters are a bit inefficient. The slices of cakes are a smaller than other places.
However it has a nice terrace to chill out.

Always a great place to go for an afternoon coffee/cake combination. Great Black Forest cake. Best cakes altogether in Bonn.
