I don't recommend this place for eating. We waited probably three hours for our food, and when everyone was eating they realized that my order was not available anymore so I had to order a different dish and wait again :/
The place is also a bit overpriced but I was expecting that.

Very poor service and rude staff. We waited about 25 minutes to be allowed to order. Apparently only one waitress - who was nowhere near our table - was able to take our order and so the ~8 others refused. Drinks were fine, but 4€ for a couple of nacho crisps and 1.50€ for a small amount of dip was verging on a joke.

When we asked to pay it took another 10 minutes or so before the waitress came back to us and then demanded 31€ without even thinking about what we had actually ordered. After clarifying that we did not, in fact, order a schnitzel the correct amount of 17.10€ was asked for. Given the bad service we decided to just pay that amount, but the waitress was initially totally taken aback and asked if she could keep the full 20€, then became visibly very annoyed that we weren't giving a tip. Come on, this is Germany it's not crazy to not tip if the service has been really poor!

Service to neighbouring tables was equally poor. One man next to us had to wait even longer to order.

Would absolutely not recommend, there are much nicer places in Bonn with friendlier staff and better prices!

Service is not always very good, the food is not worth the money it is better if you are hungry to only have chips and the last but not least negative comment, is that you can only pay with cash, something that I am very surprised about for such a big place. I think the Finanzamt needs to do a proper check of their books. On the positive said the garden is nice and cozy.

Very bad service! The waitress, a young girl, didn't speak English and could not suggest us any wine or beer. Just started to repeat the types of drinks they had in rapid German. We could only pay with cash, which was not told in advance, even though my husband showed his Visa card to the waitress when we ordered. My husband had to go and search for an ATM, no flexibility what so ever. I woudn't recommend this place!

Nice place. Beer selection is quite local but not impressive for someone who is a keen beer enthusiast. Food was great when it comes to pairing it with beer (wide selection, burgers or 'finger food' is what we had)

Look, if you are with a group of friends, this place is fun. By yourself, not so much. But I was with a large group and it could not have been more delightful.
The food is beerhall type, but well made. The bears are local and the staff is as efficient as you can ask.
There is a pool table for the serious, a "beach" area the women can kick off the heels and enjoy, and the boys have a ball.
As an American with children you will appreciate French fries being available. After dark, it is a German pub through and through with lovely vista of the Rhine. Good place. I would return in a heartbeat.

Excelent place for a nice Dinner. Frendly personal, great food and a beatiful terrace just in front of the Rin River
