I don’t usually give bad reviews of restaurants because I’ve worked in gastronomy myself and know how tough the business can be. But my experience here was so negative I decided this was a special case.
After arriving with a group of around 40 people (we’d reserved well over a week in advance) my table of five was left with no food for over two hours despite several polite interactions with wait staff who insisted our food would be out at any moment. When everyone else in our group had finished and we still hadn’t gotten our food, I got up and told the wait in charge of our table we were leaving. Instead of being apologetic and understanding about the situation (which you would expect if a restaurant had just wasted two hours of your time) he got angry and basically said it was our fault because everyone had ordered from the menu rather than taking a set course. So while I really can’t say anything about the food here as I never got any, the service was terrible as was the whole experience.

After good experiences many many years ago and rather bad ones at the few occasions when I tried again in the recent years I ordered this time at the explicit request of some guests I hosted. My slight fears turned into nightmares when the food came. Firstly, it was not complete (the Fajita came without rice and tortillas), but even worse, I did not find any taste
in what was delivered. The Guacamole ("created with love") was to my taste nothing more than green colored mayo, the 5 jalapenjo slices seemed to be taken out of a glass as one gets in supermarkets, the Burrito was tough, completely tasteless, except that five times one had to chew a bit stronger when one hit one of the little pieces of "carne". The (incomplete) Fajita consisted merely of a mass of oily fatty sauce, some vegetable pieces (?) and five pieces of extremely tough meat at the size of small potatoe chips. I could continue like this, but to be short: One of the worst experiences in restaurant food I had in the last years. Who likes it just likes it. But for me those raised prices and that really low quality of food is incomparable - and apart from all I did not recognize any Mexican influence in the food anyway. Even the fast food Mexican around the corner in the US for example gives much more tasty food (at one third of the Cancon Story prices). Be warned!

well, it is the second time in 4 years that I came to eat here, the first time me and my friend were waiting for our food one hour or more, since the waiter came to us to say that he forgot to give our order to the kitchen. Fine, no problem, retry after 4 year. This time we were a group of 5 adults and one little kid. We got a table near the door, and asked if possible to close, because cold and little windy outside. They said it was not possible. Fine, that is not a problem. Since another group of four came one hour after us, and had table behind ours, and the older of the group asked the same, then magically the door could be closed. Please be careful to reply the same things to your customers, otherwise we could have impression that treatment is different. Anyway, we ordered 3 fajita, and received the 3 fajita (well done), but only 2 boxes with the pitas, and in one of the boxes there were only two pitas. Result? they were not enough, and we had to ask another box of pitas, please, to finish our fajitas. Asked, and waited... waited... not coming, then ask again. No problem, we got it at the end. But, i would like to say, if we order 3 fajitas, why not coming immediately with 3 boxes, or at least 2 FULL boxes? It looks like to us you wanted to preserve pitas from extinction. Ok, time to pay, we liked to pay separately, so we were invited to go to the cashier. We were there, few guys of the crew passed by: "Hello" "Hello", but maybe not the right guys for paying. So, where is the right guy? wait and wait, oh here we have our man, good, finally. My turn to pay, 33.70€. Fine, here my 50bucks. I got back 35 euro, when the guys saw my expression of: "and where is the rest?", he said: "is 35 ok?". What to say, if you want the 1,30 euro for the service keep it. But in this case, whenever I use to give a tip of at least 10%, now forget about it, because I like to feel free to decide when and how much give, and not forced.
So, after so many "no problems", i decided to give just 2 stars, even because the food didn't make me totally happy, but don't want to mention it, because maybe it is just personal taste.
Just to recap:
- 4 years ago my order was forgotten
- our request to close the door, for the young kid, was declined, while same request from another group accepted
- if we order a certain number of fajitas, be careful we get enough number of pitas. If I have to ask, and ask for more, meantime food get colder.
- don't let people wait to much for pay, please.
- let people decide for giving the tips, and its amount!!!!

All these could be easily fixed, I trust in you ;)

Excellent food. The portions are just right and prices are really fair. The service was nice, attended us quickly and offered to turn the music down.

Great food, tasted very good! Especially for the price, you get a real good amount on your plate. I had a great time and recommend this place :D

Kept us waiting two hours for main courses, understaffed and hard to even get a drink. Main courses still not there after 2 hours so had to leave. This with 5 kids in the group. You can imagine how much they enjoyed waiting that long for nothing. Staff barely apologetic.

The big Cancun platter is great for two people as main dish!
Alcohol free cocktails are not very good, though. (Too much water/ice)
