Wonderfully quaint, rustic and cafe. Offer superb quality cakes, as well as snacks and breakfast. Staff is competent and friendly, and it's always fascinating to see the kitchen staff work their magic on cakes while you wait for food. ;)

We are regulars and a weekend without a proper C'est la Vie breakfast is always a loss.

This is favorite place in Bonn. The quiches are to die for and very affordable. My favorite is the mushroom bechemel. Pastry and dessert selection is incredible. Lemon tarte and chocolate mousse were delectable. But the best part is how nice the severs are. Very welcoming and were extremely accomodating to speak English. They have outdoor seating and several comfortable seats inside. Highly reccomend.

Nice cozy place and the breakfast was really good. However, even though the waitress was nice, she was completely overextended. It took her over 20 minutes to get out order for drinks and after we had our food and the drinks were empty, we had to get up to order another round as she was not very attentive. Could have been a bad day for her....

Still great food and service..... but it used to be even better. I haven't seen the blonde surfer dude in months, even though I went by both places. Well, I hope that we meet again and I can thank you in person for giving the advice that changed my entire life. Or you just call me, since you got my number twice!!!

Anyway, highly recommend checking this place out. The coffee is to die for!

We made a special trip here since we thought it was an exclusive French cafe, only 50% of tables were taken and we were given a big table, chose what we wanted to eat, waited.., meanwhile the two waitresses took orders from other people who arrived at the same time as us and then from people who arrived after us, then they prioritised people who were ordering takeaway... We just left after waiting at least 10-15 mins, since there was still a line of about four people waiting to order takeaway.
Better off ordering takeaway and then asking them for a table to wait for the food and than dining-in rather than expecting to get table service and give tips here

Had a pleasant experience on a Sunday morning breakfast. Friendly staff. The pastries are really delicious. Not too sweet. Everything fresh and nice :)

Cafe with French kitchen baking products (croissants, bread, cakes), delicious, but quite expensive. The atmosphere is modern, however, not really cosy and often crowded... the service depends on how many customers want to be served. This cafe is worth a short visit for a sweet diversion, however, not a place to stay and relax...
