Unique and great vibe, super good music (I think it was some Berlin minimal style?) Even though the place can seem intimidating to non-regulars because of its unique vibe, the staff is very polite and attentive. The coffee was strong but good, the cake was hearty and tasty. -1 star because a) no indication which cakes where vegan and there was slight confusion about that within the staff and b) the speaker to the left of the entrance seems to be broken, gives off a buzzing noise, a tad bit annoying but if those are fixed it's an easy 5 stars. Wholeheartedly recommend.

Cosy u0026 lovely place for a cup of hot drink with a piece of a delicious homemade cake (I recommend the pear cake). Also the staff is so friendly and for sure I will revisit for breakfast :)

We were invited to this cafe. It was a nice experience and the drinks were good. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the company. The owner was kind and friendly. We look forward to visit again soon.

We went to Bochum for Beth Hart concert. Everything was closed, so we typed "pub" in Google, and found this place as first one. Very nice atmosphere and service. Coffee rather ok, but somosoa was great! Inside you will find books on the shelfs and sort of small scene on which concerts take place. Definitely worth going there!

Great cafe !

Fantastic breakfast and cakes. Variety of coffees and teas. As well as alcoholic drinks.

Liberal attitude. Nice and friendly people.
Even some little library for your entertainment.

Definitely worth a visit.

This is (or rather was) my favourite cafe in Bochum. I made a trip into town today just to to visit, I was really looking forward to the delicious samosas and coffee. For fifteen minutes I looked at the staff behind the bar but no one came over. Then I gave up, went into town and found somewhere else. Sad :(
