Great location, clean rooms, great breakfast. The staff is helpful and the one serving the breakfast was very nice and helpful.

Broken shower head mount, rotten apples in the breakfast basket, and an elevator that gets stuck on the second floor constantly. Service is friendly and makes an effort.

One good reason to stay here is if you're looking for a reasonable price of hotel with super easy access to Bochum Hauptbahnhof and easy to get food around and close to the Bochum City Center where you can find some shopping centers.

Hotel was considerably clean, a little bit noisy because it is next to the bus station and train station but for me it was not an issue. Just be careful if you travelling around this area (I mean outside of the hotel), there may be some beggars.

During my stay, the hotel itself was fine, we've found no issues, the reception was helpful and breakfast here was nice. Hey, you can get a complimentary coffee or tea in the reception desk. WiFi works fine with no problem. The minor negative thing with the room was the bad smell of the previous guest. But luckily, I bring my own air freshener so it was solved. I will stay again in this hotel in future if needed.

The service at the hotel was perfect. The receptionist could answer all my question to my satisfaction. The check-in was pretty fast.
The Hotel is situated very close to my working place. Therefore I could save a lot of time to and from the hotel.

This ibis Styles unfortunately did not deliver on what usually is a fairly solid experience, I would even say it disappointed. The room was small and very cold, the bed way too soft and the internet didn’t work properly.

This is a lot of complaining for what is a reasonably priced hotel, so let‘s talk about what is good.

Location: You walk out of the train station and there is your hotel, if you arrive late,it doesn’t get much better thank this.

Staff: Friendly and helpful

Breakfast: Nobody expects a big selection, but what they had was decent.

Decent hotel, nothing fancy but clean and updated. WiFi worked well. Best part is the hotel is attached to the main train station in Bochum, so it is easy to get to, and there is a bus station out front and lots of taxis. Walk across the street to get to the Christmas market in December.

the hotel is just next door of Bochum station exit. the room face station plaza is bigger and experience better than the one face railway platform. the breakfast is good, and there is self service of free tea in lobby.
