Check in was good with face coverings and social distancing being maintained by staff and a clean/ dirty pen policy for signing in. Details were also taken as part of the German covid tracking system. Room was a reasonable size, modern and minimalistic. Bathroom was spacious and acceptable. I could see it had been recently mopped as part of it was still wet but there were still some hairs in the corner of the floor near the bath. I could find no evidence of covid cleaning procedures within the room. The remote control was left as normal. The breakfast buffet required to be booked with social distancing in place for the tables and hand cleaning implemented prior to seating. The hotel was quiet and peaceful with plenty of parking and would have got four or five stars had there been more evidence of additional cleaning measures in the rooms.

I remember this Hotel, had stayed here a few years ago when I went for Drupa, my stay comfortable, Nice and Happy, they have a nice bar and lovely environment, beautifull surroundings, Ruhur Park A very hugh and a large area for shopping/movies etc is very near to the hotel.

Really nice hotel. The rooms are a bit older but can't say anything wrong with them. Hotel has a large sauna area and is also right next a large shopping centre. There is also free parking which is a big plus.

Nice clean hotel, very close to local businesses. Hotel staff were very accommodating. Breakfast buffet was enjoyable. I would stay here again.

Acoustic is horrible. If there are guests chatting and laughing at the bar you can even hear it in your room.

The New York Gospel Stars has been coming to Achat Bochum for the past 11 years... And every stay is amazing... It’s very convenient to shop and do everything we need... When we are alway from The US, Achat Bochum has become Our Home Away From Home... Nina DeRosa and her staff are amazing... We Love Achat Bochum!!!
