Very nice place without entering fee, thanks to the city! ????
Lots of animals and some nice playgrounds for the children. Also nice for hiking and biking.
Good for a drink or some food and a place to find some rest outside the city. If you ever plan to visit Bielefeld, don’t forget this place, it’s worth it (nicer then the centre ????)

Great animal park not like a zoo but with a hughe variety of animals. Entry is free of charge but you have to pay for parking to support the park and the food and care for the animals. We are here with the kids 2-4 times per year round about. Always worth a visit with some playgrounds for the kids and a lot of animals to see, feed and some also to touch. There are free toilets and a restaurant and also a small grill with sausages and fries. You can spend the whole day if you like. Realistic is a time of 2-4 hours depending on how interested the kids are and the weather conditions. A lot of banks for resting are also there for having a snack or picking with the whole family or only for a short rest. Interesting for all people from 1 to 100 years.

Perfect park to spend some time with kids and visit the wide variety of animals! The park is well preserved and the animals have a recreation of their own habitat! Free entry, and 2 EUR for all day parking fee.

First of all, this is a free entrance zoo, so do not have high expectations or anticipate an extravagant experience. However, it was a nively kept place, lots of spaces to sit down and have something to eat, the animals were not a lot, but a good amount for a free zoo. It worth visiting for the reindeer i would say. Beautiful animals, running happy in quite a large space, really good to see

In forestry countryside. Great location, several species of wild animals in clean and fenced in areas. But lovingly and naturally planted habitat for each variety of animals. From mice,owls,fowl,Wolfs,bivers.....you can park car and pay small fee,walk freely around. Take along beverages or restaurants with surprisingly good food near entrance,toilets as well. Play areas for children and plenty of resting places

absolutely love this park, it has come such a long way since the 90's. this is not a zoo, and the visitors are informed that the animals don't show up just when you want them to.
