A beautiful forest. You would never think you're so close to the city of Bielefeld. Great for hiking and great for mountain biking.

Lovely forest with some excellent mountain bike trails and trail running routes. However, the deforestation has damaged some on the paths and the debris left in the wake is horrendous in place with the original paths totally destroyed and/or covered from view.

There’s a good network of hiking trails through the forested hills, which can be started directly from the town of Bielefeld.

Great place for biking and outdoor activities. I enjoyed riding my road bike here. Very quiet roads with not much traffic and I also saw many hiking trails.
