Suddenly a 50 banknote disappeared from my friend purse when her bag was checked by the guy outside… he also took the liberty to take my passeport in my bag to check it without asking my consent.

Club is too small and the bouncers are thinking up too high of themselves... Yes it's Berlin but yes it's also zur klappe... Get a grip!

Worth a visit considering the location (true underground ;) I mean ... underground toilet man!) but who can dance if it's so packed... Still a nice experience though to have a staff saying hello and goodbye to the customers, missing that nowadays. A bit expensive considering it's so small. Maybe letting fewer people in would fix some of its problems.

Cool location, but prices are above average and they want 5 Euros for entrance even though this is not a proper club but rather just an underground bar.
For a club, dance floors are far too small. For a bar, music us far too loud.

The staff are friendly, great line up, they have draft beer, theres sitting area like a normal bar, they play different music in their washroom, only 20 ppl can fit in their tiny dance floor but the sound system is good unlike most clubs in Berlin. the only things i couldn't stand are theres no space to dance if you wanna be closer to the DJ and its too smokey with cigarettes since theres no air circulation system. but this club is so Berlin! :)

If you scrolling through reviews of Zur Klappe mind jts very biased sphere. It is specific place. Tiny, loud and obscure but my experience at night with Joanna Knutsson left me with only raving experience. Place is very intimate, stylish and unlike lots of berlin clubs, very individual. Loved my time here. Most definitely coming back!
