Metropol Hostel Berlin

I was looking for an affordable private room to stay in Berlin.
I contacted the reception over the telephone and the receptionist was kind enough to help me reserve a room.
I planned to stay at the hostel for only one night, but due to their excellent customer service, chill lounge and affordable rooms. I extended my trip and stay for three nights.
I am pleased that I choose this hostel, and will be staying again whenever I am back in Berlin.

The location of my hostel is really good. There is a metro stop right in front of it, but it is very bad in terms of cleanliness. We stayed for 2 days, during this time they never cleaned the room, it was very dirty and bad. Especially the bathroom and toilet were really dirty. It came out well below our expectations.

Breakfast is horrible absolutely not worth it. When u go to the suitcase room nobody is watching what you’re doing and there is no camera. My thing was stolen there. Location is good. Besides one girl and one older gentamicin staff is super unfriendly and they don’t care about you. Won’t go there again

I booked for couple of nights, the stay was amazing. The place is very lively.
The staff at the hostel is very customer friendly.
I would highly recommend this hostel for a stay in Berlin.

This hostel is the definition of terrible. The shower was stinking. The drainage system was really bad, and the rooms were not clean at all. The breakfast was ok, but there are not a lot of options. I would not recommend anyone to stay in this hostel because this is the worst hostel I have ever been to.

Simplistic rooms, but they are perfectly fine. Breakfast is well arranged. It is basic, but i have had an a-okay stay.

The staff was very friendly, breakfast was included, and my hostel mates were all great people. I would stay here again.
