Wonderful restaurant for typical German cuisine high quality. We have try “original Wiener Schnitzel” and a season dish recommended by the owner

Today we had lunch and we had our first experience of racism in Berlin and what is funny is from the waitress German speaking lady serving us. After she checked our vaccination cards she blurted out if we have our passports with us saying the police might come. I lost my appetite! I wonder if she asked the other tourists like us but white skin same question? And by the way the food is not really impressive compared to middle class restaurant in Dubai. Perhaps even the food is not so impressive but the waitress is not part of the team maybe that could compensate.

Had a morning desert with coffee here, enjoyed it a lot. The Coffee was okay but the deserts were awesome

Food is alright, Service is friendly but at times terribly slow. Used to be better before the owner changed. The Tafelspitz was too salty and the replacement menu item took over 30 minutes to be brought to the table.

Great food! It is a very spacious place with lovely and warm decorations. The waiters are friendly and similing. The food (especially schnitzel ) is tasty and served in big portions. The restaurant is accessible via public transportation. If you are visiting Berlin don’t miss the opportunity to visit and taste the delicious food and drinks served at Zur Glocke.
