If you want to get good German food for a good price and in a very cozy restaurant, you should really go to this place! The restaurant is full of charm and the personal is very friendly.
If we come back to Berlin we will definitely visit this place again!

It was really a great experience serving Christmas dinner at this restaurant! We truly liked the Christmas menu: grandmother biscuit soup, grilled duck, and grandmother apple-cinnamon dessert...very delicious. Very friendly and caring staff.

Nice restaurant. Very recommendable if you are looking for traditional german recipes and real berliner taste. Gentle waiters and good ambient. Really good prices, excellent beer and generous portions. I recommend dunkel beer and great berliner sausage with its sour cabbage.

The waiter was very helpful and nice. I was thinking to order a salad as starter and the pork knuckle as main but he suggested that I order only the main as I alone might not be able to finish both. He was willing to swap my side dish pea purée for salad, very accommodating. The portion size was so big! Love it and would recommend to anyone visiting Berlin.

Good/decent food but outrageous price for water. Avoid this tourist trap!

After asking for tap water, the waiter brings you a bottle and then the price is 6.50 euros! The most expensive water I’ve had in my life.

Won’t be coming back for sure.

My last night in Berlin and we decided to have some authentic German food in Zur Gerichtslaube. We ordered the veal, Berlin sausage and some fries(haha!). They serve food in a decent size plates, delicious food and friendly service, plus they have vegetarian option too. Such a great vibe to have luscious food in a historial building.
