At the street level this restaurant looked like any other. It was compelling enough for us to go in but not much more. Once we went downstairs it picked up a lot of character. The menu was great, the food was delicious, and the service friendly in English.

The ambience is great with almost full house at dinner time.
We ordered the pork knuckle and pork steak. Portion was great and taste fantastic!
The service is perfect too! Even though not super fluent in English but great energy and super friendly!

The waitress cannot speak fluent English, so a bit hard to communicate. Also they made us feel unrespectful because they talked with other diners when serving us, and even did not set the tableware for us and give us welcome salad, and just saying ‘oh I forgot to welcome y’all and laughed with other diners.’ So unpleasant to me!

But honestly the food is really nice, especially the knuckle with beer!

The restaurant is full house so suggest to reserve a table.

I was riding with Wonderful classic German cuisine. Boiled ham hock, Berlin style. Great food and atmosphere at very reasonable prices… good service, classic Great German food!

Understaffed, but very friendly. Classic menu, great if you are a tourist and want to try traditional German food. Proper portions for the price.
Not super suitable for vegetarians or small meals. Wines were pretty pricey.

Great place to enjoy German cuisine. Very soft and juicy pork knuckle and brawn with decent beer. Love the vibe here.

Wonderful German style restaurant by the TV tower. I had the half duck and Berlin kindl beer and it was a superb combination. The staff was accommodating with our English.
