It's not too far away from the underground train station and is a spacious enough restaurant. The prices are cheap but that doesn't affect the quality of the food. The ambience is reminiscent of old German housing with a high roof, however there isn't much to dampen the sounds of patrons, so it can get loud. Whatever dish you order, you'll get a lot of food, and everything is very meaty, I'd estimate over 250g meat per dish. The quality of the food is good. The waiters are very friendly and nice. I recommend this place especially in the winter for the tasty, meaty food.

Definitely the best dining experience in Berlin in 3 days! Massive amounts of great meaty food for very moderate price. Friendly hosts and waiters. Cash only though. If you stay near by I would absolutely recommend this place for a dinner after a long walk over the city.

One of my best experiences in a restaurant in my life. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Berlin. This is a treasure hidden in the north of the city. Amazing place.

Very good! Around 10eu for a big plate, the service is very helpfull for non-german speakers and the food is very good.
